Austin played really well on thursday night! He got to pitch which is something he really likes to do! He hit really well to, his first hit was a pop fly which was caught. Watch this video, it was his second hit! Austin almost had a 3 up 3 down, but the catcher interfered with the 2nd hitter and so he got to take his base! We are so proud of him, he has improved a ton since the start of the year!

Spiderwick Chronicles

We watched The Spiderwick Chronicles last night. The kids really liked it! We haven't read the books so I really can't compare the two. I am thinking though that I will get them for the kids to read! Has anyone read them and if so do you recommend them? I have to be honest I really didn't get into Harry Potter or Narnia, although I did read Narnia when I was younger and I do remember loving them WAY Back then!! I need to be better about getting my children to read more!

Indiana Jones

I don't know how many of you grew up watching Indiana Jones in your home more than one time....well I did. We loved Indiana! We had the kids watch all of them in one weekend just so that they could understand and get the whole idea of Indiana Jones!

We laughed! I thought it was great, I do have to say that I wasn't really big on the whole alien thing but when you think about the time period it fit! It was great to watch my dad and the kids laugh and get into the whole action of it. The only other thing that seemed a little off was the fight on the jeeps. You could tell it was all digital! Now I know that it would be hard to fight on a moving car but that fight went on and on and on! Over all we had a GREAT time! My kids loved taking Grandpa to the movies!

O and not to mention that after the movie we went to dinner and Grandpa was talking to the boys about the Greasers and the Preppy Boys, he admitted that at one time he was a Greaser, a hair comber!! Gotta love it!

Now they just need to make another Crocodile Dundee movie! O wait is he even still alive?!

Indiana Jones

Tonight we are taking Grandpa to see the new Indiana Jones! I'll let you know how it goes. I have heard many different opinions! But hey it's "Indiana Jones", you gotta see it on the big screen! And just so you know we had the kids watch all of the others first so that they understand who Indiana is!!
