We had light up Downey lastnight
and of course we had a special visit
from Santa!  The boys didn't want
to come because they are getting to "cool"
for that! I guess they better hope Santa knows
what they want! Zane was too busy flirting with all
the ladies so he didn't have time for Santa!

Prettier everyday!

I'm willing to admit that I am WEAK!
I bought this BeAuTiFuL hat from
my cousin Peggy....check out her Etsy store
A Bit of String
(she is sooooo talented)
and it was supposed to be for Christmas
but I couldn't wait to give it to her!
My little girl is growing up so fast and
she just keeps getting prettier by the day!

(There is a link to my cousins store on the side of my blog!!)

Uncle Brad gave us tickets to go to the Jazz game
the night before Thanksgiving so Todd and the
kids loaded up and drove down!
If you ask Jeff why the Jazz
rocked the house he will tell you it's because
he was there!
They had a ton of fun and even got
a couple of autographs!
Thank you Uncle Brad they had a BLAST!!!

Special Day

Today was Zanes special day.
He was such a good little guy and
didn't even make a peep during the blessing!
It was nice to have our families here to
share in this special moment!
Thank you to everyone who stood in
the circle! We love you all!

Sweet Dreams

Its always been said that babies smile
when they are "gasey" when they are just
little but I am sure that there is more to it than that!
We keep catching Zane with these little smiles and
lately they have been getting bigger and bigger
and they seem to be happening more often!
Lastnight he was laying on my lap and he
had this tiny little smile, I can't help but
wonder what he is dreaming about or maybe just
maybe he and my mom are having these little
conversations in his sleep!
All I can say is she hadn't better be
telling him all the little embarassing
stories about me!

Zane and Jeremy

I got to visit my cousin over the weekend
and our boys were born a week apart!
We tried to take their pics but as you can
see they weren't about to cooperate!
In case you can't tell Zane is wearing red and
Jeremy is in the green!
I don't think Zane liked that flash from the camera!
We are going to have to work on the smiling!

Halloween Cookies

Its amazing how much you miss out on when you
have to work everyday! I had forgotten what it was
like to be home ALL day with my kids and today
Samantha reminded me! She wanted to make
Halloween cookies so that's what we did!
If anyone has can tell the secret to black
frosting PLEASE let me know! It would be
nice to have black hats and black bats!

Just chillin

I know I know....Its just gas!
But hey its a smile a mother can love!

Well hunting season has officially begun in
our household. Austin gets to hunt deer this
year and Jeff gets so hunt small birds!
So today after football Todd took them

time. After a couple of tries they
they were successful and got these two
good looking birds!
Good job boys!

Jeff and Lady

The kids did alot this year for 4 H and the fair
and I am realllllly behind on updating! IM SORRY!
I came across this pic today on my computer of
Jeff and Lady. Lady is the horse that we
borrowed from our friends Dick and Patty.
When this all started Jeff and Austin really
hadn't had much interest in the horses but they
wanted to do 4 H, and because we only have
one horse we borrowed Lady.
Jeff was a fast learner but little did we know
that by the end of the fair Jeff had become
very attached to her. When Dick came to
take her home Jeff got a little emotional
and told us that this was the worst day ever
because Lady had to go home!
You can just see the attachment that he
had for her in this picture! I love it!

Back to School and Life with us.

Ok...So I officially feel like the worst mom!
I didn't get pics of my kids on their first day of school!
Not because I didn't want to but to be completely honest
I had absolutely no energy to do it! By the time I got myself
ready for work and got Sam's hair done Austin had to walk out
the door to catch the bus for his first day of Middle School. Yes my
oldest is growing up so quick. He didn't even hesitate to walk out
the door. He came in my bathroom while I was getting ready and
did his hair and kissed me goodbye! Off he went! From the sounds
of it he had a very successfull day! He didn't even have any problems
with his locker! He also loves having more that one teacher!
Im sure that If I were to ask him what his
favorite class is he will tell me it's P.E.
Jeff is starting 5th this year and will spend half of the day
in the 6th grade class and then the rest of the day in 5th.
I wasn't sure how I would feel about this but to be honest
Jeff needs a little push. School has always come so easy for
him. He needs something to really make him think and work.
The only thing I don't think he likes is having to ride his bike
to school with his sister!
Samantha is now in the 3rd grade! It wouldn't matter what grade
she is in she just loves school. She loves to see her friends
and she loves her teachers! So far school work has come very
easy to her too! She is growing up so fast!
I noticed that her school supply list didn't mention crayons
so I thought maybe I should send them anyway just incase that
was an error! She came home from school with her pencil box
and the crayons and proceeded to inform me that
her teacher says that crayons are for the "little kids" and that
they are no longer the "little kids" so
they will be using colored pencils!
I must be one of the "little kids" cause I still
love to use crayons!
Life around our house has always been very
busy between going from one sport to the next and
adding animals and moving pipe
and now back to school and Football. I work part time
at ISU Credit Union and I have coached
volleyball for 6 years but have decided to give up
coaching do to my current condition!
Todd works full time and teaches school
at ISU two nights a week and he is the assistant coach
for Jeff's football team. For these first
2 months of school we don't eat dinner
before 8 and and we are lucky to
have homework done and have everyone
tucked into bed by 10:00!
Having said all that our newest addition is
coming and will add to our very busy lives! I know
it will be a BIG adjustment for all of us but
I know that she will bring lots of laughter and
giggles to our home!
(It's a good thing she will be to little to run around
while we get thru football and basketball!)
I am looking forward to 6 weeks of maternity leave
But I am soo greatful that we will have
Grandma Wilding to take over when I go back to work!

So much for a clean truck!

So my husband has decided that we are taking
out our propane stove out and putting
in a wood burning one. This means
that we have to get wood for the winter.
My friend Mindy also has a wood burning stove
and she also needs LOTS of wood too.
So my husband and the 4 boys made a
trip up the canyon to get wood. Did I also mention
that the boys just WASHED the truck??
This is the 2nd load that Todd and my boys
have gotten this week and he plans on taking
ALL the boys tomorrow to get 2 more loads!
(Austin is not pictured because after they got back
he had to go to a scout mtg but he did go with them!)

They worked so hard today!
Way to go Boys!
I think I will have to reward them with
a day of swimming!

Car Wash

Being the mean mother that I am
I made my boys wash the durango on
monday after I got home from work!
I was in charge of the hose and I told them
that if they missed a spot I would spray them!
They must have done a pretty good job
because they didn't get wet enough!
NEXT time they will GET WET!

Jeff and the Zip Line

We went up to our Bishops farm
on Sunday for a cook out and the
neighbor has a zip line at his cabin.
There is nothing better than
Yummy food and some fun!
The boys were in heaven!
Im just waiting for them to ask us to
to put one in at our house.

Sam and the Zipline

Sam was only brave enough to start
at about 1/2 way. Thanks to Natalie
who would lift her up and pull her back
and then give a BIG push!
Im sure the next time we go
Sam will wanna start at the top!
